Learning of an unplanned pregnancy can be confusing, emotional, and scary. A big decision must be made that will affect you and your baby--permanently.

Not sure what to do? As with any big decision, it is best to get the facts first. Many mothers are resistant to the idea of an adoption because they have misconceptions about the process, or fear a lack of control.

Free information and assistance is available to women considering an adoptive placement. Compassionate help is just a phone call away! Your contact will be kept in the strictest confidence and your privacy protected. You are under no obligation to proceed with a placement if you call.

Feel the need for a personal touch? Each mother who contacts us will speak directly to one of our attorneys, and will work one-on-one with an attorney during her entire pregnancy. If transportation is a problem, our attorney can come to you, or we can make transportation arrangements for you to come to our office.

If you wish to pursue an adoptive placement, professional help is available from our experienced staff, which includes two licensed attorneys with more than 35 years of experience. Robison "Rob" Harrell and Alice Murray are both members of the Florida Adoption Council, and the Florida Association Of Adoption Lawyers. Mr. Harrell, an adoptive father, is a Director for the Florida Adoption Council, and is President of the Florida Association Of Adoption Lawyers. He is also a member of the American Academy Of Adoption Attorneys. These attorneys have been making adoptive placements in Florida for more than nineteen years. Alice, a mother herself, works one-on-one with birth mothers.

Our goal at The Adoption Center is to insure that each newborn baby is placed directly from the hospital into a loving, two-parent home. NO FOSTER CARE IS REQUIRED. Your input is sought to select the perfect family for your child. Resumes of prospective adoptive families are available for your review, if you decide to participate in choosing your child’s adoptive family.

Having a difficult time emotionally or financially? Arrangements can be made for you to obtain any necessary counseling. Financial assistance is available for living and medical expenses associated with the pregnancy.
